Manzoor for NZ Tests

Pakistan’s team selectors included the opener Khurram Manzoor, who is in form now, as the 15th member of the Test team in the tour of New Zealand. Khurram Manzoor has hit a great century for Pakistan 'A' team on their recent tour of the West Indies. The chief selector Mohsin Khan said they have brought in Manzoor after his good performance in the series against the West Indies. Manzoor, who started his sports career, first faced Sri Lanka in Karachi last year, and so far played seven Tests, scoring 326 with 3 fifties.

He said he was unlucky to be overlooked despite scoring a brilliant 77 in his last Test, against Australia in January. Pak play 3 T20 games, 2 Tests and 6 ODIs on their tour of New Zealand. A separate T20 team was also announced earlier this week, while the ODI team will be announced later.

India looks for victory

Indian skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and chose to field against New Zealand in the third ODI of the five match series. India have made two changes with Zaheer Khan instead of Sreesanth and Ravindra Jadeja instead of Suresh Raina. Strengthened by the return of Zaheer Khan, India would look to show their superiority and grab the ODI series against New Zealand. A series victory would keep the team in second spot in the ICC rankings behind the top Australia.

Indian batting has been in stunning fashion in the first two matches. Zaheer Khan has been brought back for Saturday's encounter, which New Zealand must win to keep the series alive. Gambhir and Virat Kohli are center of focus in the team. Yuvraj Singh, slowly getting into his form after being ignored for the Test series. The Indian bowling has so far restricted the New Zealand batting that missed injured Brendon McCullum in the first two matches.
